This drawing is based on measurements of the house and a 1730s painting depicting the structure. Miss Charlotte Amelia Houghtaling (1838-1933) donated the painting to the Holland Society in New York by the early twentieth century (see fig. 45), but it was subsequently lost. The main or east façade was 56 feet wide, and the gable or south façade was 28 feet wide. |
