This example is from a domestic site, but many similar wares were found at Swann’s pottery on Wilkes Street. The reeded neck and iron wash are also found on bottle, jug, and jar wasters from the Piercy Pottery. These vessels are attributed to Lewis Plum who rented the pottery in 1799 and with whom Swann apprenticed.
