COLO Y 14427a. This tall cylindrical form tapers in circumference from base to mouth. It is one of the few forms to have been decorated with incised leaf and flower motifs. One fragment with a hole in its center may be a churn lid. The Yorktown churns may be the earliest clay butter churns made in America.
