Object Lab 5.0's final project was a video centered around the 19th century pedagogical practice of Object Lessons. Each group was handed one object from the Chipstone Foundation's collection and was tasked with using the object to go through the 5 steps of an Object Lesson. Lily Higgins, Kabnoog Xiong, and Chase Markee analyze an 1819 Campeachy Chair made for Thomas Jefferson by his slave John Hemings, in this video filmed by Dan Ollman.
